God birthed a dream in the Youth Ministry Team (YMT) to give Church of God teenagers an opportunity to change the world by giving financially to provide tools for evangelism around the globe. In 2002, this dream became a reality when Spread the Word was launched at IYC in Denver. Since that time teenagers and their leaders have given more than $460,000 to provide tools for evangelism around the world.

Through STW, teenagers have helped supply tools for evangelism in twenty-three different countries on six
continents around the world. It is estimated that about ninety missionaries and national ministry leaders have been supported in ministry by STW funds. Many people have come to know Jesus Christ.

We are praying that IYC2010 will be another opportunity for thousands of youth to come together to Spread the Word. And it’s simple. Our goal is that each student will bring an extra $20 to give to the STW offering, which will enable the ministries supported by STW to go forth with the gospel.
